WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
looking for a Database Developer to join our IT team! Our Database Developer will work with SQL query development, performance monitoring/tuning of stored procedures and queries, and will assist the software engineering and professional services team with SQL development. Our ideal candidate will be able to identify business requirements and transform them into data models, queries, stored procedures/SSIS packages, reports and Business Intelligence Tools.
Some responsibilities include:
- Creating and maintaining database processes to support our key business systems
- Aiding with the development of presentation layer for custom reporting and business intelligence
- Aiding in Data Maintenance tasks
- Creating and maintaining reporting and auditing to support our sales, client success, professional services, data production, and accounting teams
- Assist software engineering team as needed to develop solutions in an Agile environment
Skills/Background we're looking for:
- BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or relevant work experience
- 3+ years of T-SQL Development
- 3 + years of developing database objects, tables, stored procedures, CTEs, views, triggers, and SSIS packages
- 3 + years of data manipulation
- SQL performance tuning
- Experience working with large data sources
- Ability to understand business processes and how the database schemas can be improved to meet those business requirements
- Ability to contribute to project planning, scope, and documentation
- Willingness to have own code reviewed and perform peer code reviews

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Computer Science or related field.
